Filter and beam-splitting coatings for middle IR range


Cutting filter 9.3-15.3 m

  • Cutting filter up to 8 microns on Ge.
  • Adhesion tested with adhesive tape.
  • The coating withstands rubbing with a cotton swab moistened in acetone.

Cutting filter 15.5-20 m

  • Cutting filter up to 8 microns on Ge and ZnSe (the filter is assembled in a single frame of two components).
  • Adhesion tested with adhesive tape.
  • The coating withstands rubbing with a cotton swab moistened in acetone.

ZnSe HR 10.6 m; HT 3.7-4.8 m

  • AR coating on ZnSe for 10.6 microns with simultaneous transmission at 3.7-4.8 microns.
  • Adhesion tested with adhesive tape.
  • The coating withstands rubbing with a cotton swab moistened in acetone.
  • Transmission of ZnSe plate at the angle of 45 degrees is presented.

4.25 micron band-pass filter on Si

  • Adhesion tested with adhesive tape.
  • The coating has passed the test for mechanical wear resistance (according to the instruction from 4.5.11 MIL-C-675C).
  • This filter can be used in devices for analyzing carbon dioxide, when studying the combustion of a flame in furnaces, for finding sources of carbon dioxide and so on.
  • If necessary, it is possible to manufacture a filter with the characteristics specified by the customer.
